Excellent.
Bazal .. presume scientific reports are hell.
I do law @ UNSW. Have to write an essay on the feminist ethic of care, whether it has a place in modern legal society, and if not, should it, or is the ethic of justice enough.
TBH it's a load of sh*t. Since when do women not already have enough rights? I swear I saw an ad on the tele advertising cheap tupperware this evening. Buy one, get one free sort of thing.
But hey, that's not good enough. Supposedly it's something about a patriarchal concept of autonomy which dominates modern society, and women are oppressed to such an extent that they can't speak out and are forced instead to make love to their husbands, rear the children and basically sit at home all day doing nothing whilst their husband is out earning the money to put food on the table.
Blow me if having to clean the house once every couple of weeks, cook dinner for the family, prepare lunch for the kids before they go to school and throw a load of washing into a machine which does the job for you is a hard life. Especially when you can go to see your friends every other day for coffee.
f**k.
I feel like responding to the essay topic "f**k you, I'm putting in all this effort at uni to get a good job so I can pay for my children's education eventually, because that's what my wife would WANT me to do, and now you're telling me she wants to go out and work too? f**ken fine, I'll sit at home 6 days a week and do jack sh*t whilst she goes into court and tries to get a not guilty verdict for a bloke who admitted to her that he was actually guilty of the triple homicide. What do you think of THAT feminism, HUH?!"
