Work in an accounting firm full-time during the uni holidays, and I feel like necking myself.

Seriously, it is deathly silent right now. Everyone - except myself, it seems - is doing work right now. And the boss isn't even in the office!!!

I've not met too many who have any sort of sense of humour whatsoever. Ftr whenever accountants take on a CEO or MD role at a company, its usually the last straw for that company. Accountants are far too concerned with cutting costs at the expense of all other areas of a business.

Don't disagree there. Luckily I don't actually do Accounting here because I work as office manager, but it's still horrific.

The only people I like talking to are the girls in Admin. All the blokes in accounting and finance are boring as bat sh*t.

1 of my house-mates is an accountant. He is so personality deficent I regularly have to check to see if he still has a pulse.

Yep, agree 100%. CEOs need imagination, they need to innovate, they need to understand the market. Accountants lack all those qualities, their reality of business is based all in numbers.

I did 2 years of an accounting degree, I come from a family full of accountants, i've worked as an accounts clerk. Thankfully I was smart enough to realise how dull it all was. I have too much personality to be an accountant tbh.
