lol reminds me of what Kenny's dad said.

Kyle's Dad: Man, aren't weekends just the best ?!

Kenny's Dad: When you're unemployed, weekends are meaningless.

I love Kenny's dad's hat that just has the word "Scotch" written across the front.

Ever noticed how derro's always seem to be wearing clothing advertising some sort of Alcohol on it? Always seems to be the case.

Went to a party out at Prestons a few months ago. A partner of one of my girlfriends work mates. Rocked up and the place was deadset Boganville. Jim Beam T-Shirts a plenty, as well as band T-Shirts advertising "hard core" bands that I'd never heard of before. All the girls there were early 20's and had a minimum of one child with them, most of these girls were smashed by about 7:30 and still looking after the kids.

Group of blokes in the loungeroom smoking bongs and playing playstation. Real classy party, this one.

Anyway, I have a Holden, company car and as I parked out the front this guy from the party basically ambushes me as I'm getting out and says -

"what the f**k are you doing driving that piece of sh*t!"

I looked at my Navy Blue Berlina which is just over 12 months old and was shining like a beacon amongst the host of 20 year old+ sh*t boxes that surrounded it and asked the guy what the hell he was talking about. To which he replied in his best Bogan, with a look of absolute zeal on his face -

"Everyone knows that Ford's are much better, I wouldn't drive a Holden if you paid me."

When I explained that it was a company car and that essentially I was, in fact basically paid to drive it or that it was basically a free car, he came back with -

"Still shoulda got a Ford man. If I was ever offered a car and it wasn't a Ford, I wouldn't take it."

After that, we went in and hung around at the party for a couple of hours and the guy was basically stalking me, telling me all the virtues of Falcon's and how I should try and persuade the company I work for to change fleets etc. etc. It was a very odd experience.

The corners of Sydney truly are strange places... Cambletown, Cronulla, Manly, and Rooty Hill.

I'm not into all this stuff about different classes of people and some people are born with a higher social status than others etc etc. but in saying that, some people are truly odd and I'm resigned to the fact that I will never understand them.

Especially people from Newcastle?

Okay, I'm from bogan stock. But a lot of bogans I cannot stand, as they are complete whingers. It's everyone else fault that they are 'poor'.

Used to Rep up in Newcastle and enjoyed every minute of it. When you first go up there looking to sell something, they refuse to give you a go in favour of their mates and God help you if one of your competitors is a local, but after a while, when you get to know them, they afford you the same sort of loyalty. Once you are in up in Newcastle, you are set. Its a typical country mentality. Customers in Sydney will sell you out to the next supplier to walk in the door to save $1.00 but Novacastrians won't shaft you. The other quirky thing about Newcastle is that sales go down when the Knights lose on the weekend. Mine used to especially suffer if they lost to Souths.
