You can be a man slob for a few days and play pretendsies and then when the missus returns its all good again.

I love my Missus but its great when she goes away for a few days. She had a work do on last night that didn't finish til late and I even enjoyed that little bit of freedom. NRL on Fox, leftovers for dinner off to the club to watch the Mundine fight and back home and in bed before she got back. Twas a good night!

Its not a musical, but I watched one of my old favourites the other night. "The Quiet Man" starring John Wayne. Hadn't seen it for quite some time and I'd forgotten how much domestic violence was in it. The world has certainly changed since the 50's thats for sure. In one scene, he drags his Missus half way through town by the hair and its portrayed as being "funny". Apparently, back then it was ok to drag your missus around by the hair.

Reminds me of an old joke.

Q: Why did cave men drag their Women around by the Hair?
