Kite, Weyman, Bailey all played like rubbish. O'Donnell had a dig and Poore was ok in patches. McManus seemed starstruck and Gidley had probably the worst game he has ever had in his life. His "escorting" of Inglis to the tryline was a particular lowlight of the game and an absolute amateur mistake. As a fullback in cover defense, you should always smash the man with the ball. If he is good enough to offload then you hope that the other blokes coming across cover the support but in a situation like that one last night, he should have made a B-Line straight at Inglis and tried to put him in the third row of the grandstand. If you try to cover the man with the ball and all his support, invariably you end up being made to look like a goose.

That's how I interpreted what he did and it was very depressing to see, lol. Amateur mistake.

In fairness, Gids isn't the first, and certainly won't be the last player Inglis does the in and away on.

Gidley and McManus were shocking, Gidley especially was just plain dumb when the pressure was on. What genuine first grade fullback picks the ball up from outside the field of play, let alone an Origin captain? That's an under 10's mistake...LOD did well, Wing was solid as were Campese and Farah, Hayne had a good game and Jennings needed more ball

In and away? More like slow down for a stride, notice that Gidley was hanging off, so accelerate again and make him look stupid. Inglis line didn't change, all he did was back off a bit to see what was coming and when Gidley backed off as well, Inglis hit the afterburners.

Don't get me wrong, I think KG is a great footballer and has a heart the size of Phar Laps, but last night, I think the event just got to him. He made a couple of mistakes that he would never make in a million years at club level.

It was also surprising when that Inglis break was made, that McManus never got anywhere near the action. I thought he was much quicker than what he appeared to be there.

Campese = sh*te Origin player.

Put Mullo in for game two plz, kthx.

Christ no! We'd have been beaten by 40 if that speedbump had been playing, they ran at Campo all night and he still set up a good try despite making a sh*tload of tackles. Campese stays.

Wouldn't mind Hayne to fullback, Jennings on that wing and Gidley at centre though...Hayne was our best.

You can make all the changes you want. QLD are a gun team...They're fkn loaded at every position...

We'll struggle to keep up for a long time imo...

Sutton pawns both Mullen and Campese tbh. Its only a matter of time before he gets a run in origin and he won't let anyone down. Set up four tries on Monday night in a badly beaten team, playing with a broken hand.

Luke O'Donnell take a fkn bow - the only forward in a Blues jersey who stood up.

Brent Kite is all legs and falling down. Seriously, how was he picked???
