You eat a sh*tload of food in a day, you end up weighing more at the end of the dya.

Next morning you weigh less after you've slept and its been processed...

Yeah, fred just dosen't seem to store any of his food as fat so that 1.6kg is used as the energy for his sleep and then any excess is expelled the next day through the usual bodily functions.
