I do think golf, rugby, and cricket all have very real claims to being included. There are 'sports' on the calendar that seem to only be there because of tradition.

7's coverage of the Olympics is woeful. At least SBS shows complete matches, not bits and pieces...

Lucky you.

"Hey, Eele - we'll give you Mondays off from now on. We know how you'd love to watch the Eels play."

"Hey, awesome, man. That's so cool!"

Yeah...No.

Eddie Murphy's stand up is the sh*t. Hard to believe the stuff he got away with saying and how PC he's become in the years since Raw and Delirious

I should. I've got the 160GB iPod and need to load it up with movies and sh*t so I'm not so mind-numbingly bored at work

i've got a few richard prior dvd's at home of him doing live stand up. He tells one awesome story about when the police came around to his place after he got the sh*ts with his car so he got a gun and shot holes in it.

f**king brilliant!

Any other recommendations? I've got Eddie Murphy and I'll track down Pryor. Chris Rock annoys me, but his stand-up 'aint half bad. Got to track down some other stuff, though. Need to keep my spirits up when the kids are driving me mad :p

Stand up wise - Robin Williams is f**king brilliant. He had a live gig in 2002 at broadway which is awesome, even better on dvd.

I quite like Denis Leary's style, that aggro 'I don't give a f**k what you think' attitude. In the Lock N' Load show he did, he has a huge go at fat bastards and kids who get around with their pants all saggy. Some awesome stuff in there. His only other show was his first one called No Cure For Cancer. The first show is Leary as a single young bloke. The second is a family man who has had a bit more success in life. A marvellous insight into how he's changed through the times.

And for a more mundane style for giggles, Jimeoin ain't half bad.

I recall Leary's idea to stop war is to attack men's weaknesses. Breasts. "Men are nullified by breasts, we don't know why." He suggests getting the goodyear blimp, painting it pink and putting a big nipple on it and then flying it over war zones, all the fighting stops and the soldiers look at the sky pointing and saying "Look at the tit! The TIIIIT!, IT'S A TIIIIT!!!"

Will check 'em out. I saw Some Robin Williams a few years ago, but all I really remember was how much f**king water he went through, haha

yep, thats the one I have.

He's on a stage with a table in the middle and about 20 odd bottles of water on it.

He doesn't use them all for drinking though, some are props to simulate...well the expulsion of bodily fluids

Chris Rock's Bigger and Blacker isn't too bad.

Dave Chappelle is f**king hilarious, I've also got two of his stand up shows on dvd.
