it's a her.. and it is a strawberry spot.. I'm noto sure what causes them but my other niece had it as well.. it has gone away now though ..

I do NOT think so!!! I'm cool to watch other people's kids and hand them back when they get annoying!! I must admit though, holding my sisters first baby was so intense- the love was just, well, WOW! But not for me. For starters I am single and have no intention of having a child without a husband!! haha

Any number of things can cause them. Most commonly when the Doctor has to use the tongs but any sort of pressure on the head when the baby is being born can cause them. They go away after a while.
