It's the effect around the photo, I'm not sure what it's called but it's like the outside edges have faded or been underexposed, or something. My first impression was that Kiki's stepping up the pic thread quality with some post processing, but now I'm wondering if it's something the iPhone does automatically for effect? Did you upload those straight from the phone as is Kiki?
