94: The New New Pic Thread

Cracker city.

It really is - the food, the people, the scenery, the history, the culture...Had a great time in Barcelona. I was a 15 year old who never really had an interest in history and art, and I was going to museums and monasteries - and I loved every minute of it.

And the people - Spaniards are such friendly people.

And the food - OMG, the food!

I loved Barcelona too. I think of them as Catalonian, more so than Spanish, it is really a unique place, compared to more western parts of Spain. I even saw a flamenco show in Barcelona, was just about the best night I've ever had in my life. Montjuic, La Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas ... wish I could have spent more time there.

We didn't get much time in Barcelona, and im really bummed about that now... what we did get to see we adored!

La Sagrada Famila and the whole Gaudi influence was amazing. The colours!!
