It’s not like that at all. It was the early 1900’s, not Ancient Rome. People that saw Churchill play, and who also saw Messenger play, thought they were comparable.

However one interesting fact he revealed is that under the new process for determining Immortals, a player can only be considered a maximum of three time to become an Immortal. If they do not accrue enough votes on 3 occasions they cannot be considered for Immortal status ever again. So basically its "3 strikes and you're out".
