Sorry Tiger. Royal Sefton is one of the great golf courses in the world. Played pissed there many times & great for a hit & giggle.

BTW i don't hate Burt. I just think his time is up. Cayless played one season too many & so has this guy. Sorry but it's a glaringly obvious.

Only problem was that Hayne was doing Burt's hitup & using up his petrol. Hayne needs to helped out a lot more from his wingers. Grothe provides it. He was great at the back end of 2009 coninciding with Hayne's great form.

Atkins looks like he had a good rookie season. He shares the NSWRL/ARL/NRL record for most tries on debut (4). Burt is best suited to fullback, but unfortunately isn't the best one at the club. Grothe on form is the best attacking winger in the world; was awesome in last year's finals too. I've included Brett Morris' stats for comparison - he makes similar metres to Grothe but those metres are inflated by easy linebreaks on the end of overlaps. Not to say Morris isn't an incredible finisher, but he is one-dimensional compared to monsters like Vatuvei and Grothe.

Grothe Games/Linebreaks/Av.Runs/Av.Metres
2010: 08/03/14/114
2009: 24/14/14/124
2008: 10/06/11/099
2007: 23/13/14/121
2006: 19/06/13/108
2005: 22/15/13/124

Burt Games/Linebreaks/Av.Runs/Av.Metres
2010: 22/10/06/42
2009: 19/13/07/68
2008: 02/02/07/95 (mostly played fullback)
2007: (Only played fullback)
2006: 03/00/11/92 (mostly played fullback)
2005: 14/08/09/83

Atkins Games/Linebreaks/Av.Runs/Av.Metres
2010: 04/0/10/74
2009: 02/1/10/75
2008: 14/6/12/93
2007: (Didn't play prior to 2008)

Morris(Brett) Games/Linebreaks/Runs/Metres
2010: 25/23/12/124
2009: 22/23/11/126
2008: 01/00/10/078 (mostly played fullback)
2007: 01/00/08/066 (mostly injured)
2006: 19/11/09/087

Wont really matter wot our wingers do if we have Casey Maguire at hooker and Jeff Robson at half, we will be challenging sharks and cowboys for last. If Kearney has some nuts he will play Mitchell and Murray and stick with them unless we can get Thurston or Cronk or Orford or Barrett or Kimmorley or Gower or Sherwin or Tulsen Tollett or any of the other halves we have been linked with.

Love to see Joe Bartolo back. What a crowd pleaser he was. The Eels in the early 90's was the side to watch back then. Tollett, Kusto, Schofield, Drake, Campbell, Crnkovich, Mahonto name a few.

Tell me how did Fitzgerald last through that period employing all of his old mates to coach when they clearly couldn't coach. Other than a few flash years we have been consistent since the 1980's.

Did we have another player with the surname Kusto?

Bartolo sh*ts over Burt in ability. At least he would get his jersey dirty. And don't get me started on Muchmore. Burt couldn't lace these guys boots.

Love to see Bartolo come back as wingers coach & teach Luke how to do a hit up and not get dominated; to take a bomb; & to take a few defenders over scoring a try.

Oh ur a funny prick Sefton, but without knowing u, i reckon ur one of these frustrated front rowers who deep down wanted to wear the 2 or 5. Unfortunately Lukey is wearing the wrath of that frustration. Here's a question 4 u Sefton, Carige or Burt?
