First of all, what happened to the scores from this match?

Second, is it possible for anyone to edit their F7's match posts? If say someone went crazy and edited out all their F7 articles to be blank, do you have backups? Or are they locked down after full time somehow?

Lastly, given there seems to be a score post deleted from that match thread somehow, are the articles themselves safe.. I know things can go wrong with computers, so if the LU database crashed or was hacked or similar, can we restore the F7's afterwards?

The girl who was the subject of my article actually tracked me down after reading that (she found it googlingher own name!), and we're became friends again after a 15 year gap :lol:

It wasn't deleted. It was saved from 2005, the match result is on the F7s website.

I understand there is a limit as to when regular members can edit posts. Not sure of the time frame but I'll look it up. Its a matter of weeks or months.

The database with all forum posts, F7s included, is all backed up.

Sorry I didn't really realise this last time I read this comment... I realise that all the scores have been recorded. I mean sometimes it's nice to read old threads and see the referee's comments.

Cheers Jes, I think I wrote up the next chapter as a piece as well, but it had nothing to do with rugby league, so I never put it up....

That one was more to do with meeting up at Easter Show the next year where she was working, which led to her meeting the guy she'd spend the next 5-6 years of here life with . She's married to a good bloke now, and it's good to be in touch with someone who shared a special bit of the past - all thanks to F7s :lol:.
