a few thoughts on a horror arvo

Well if you watch the game, you`ll notice that despite him being the smallest bloke in our side, he was still one of only 3 -4 blokes in our side today that actually broke a tackle. As I said, i`d still drop him for his ordinary committment in defence, but he wasn`t alone and he sure weren`t as bad as plenty of others today !!!

I was talking about Te'o.
McDonnell was average today, which is fairly good for him.
Not our worst, as you say.

the one thing about Mcdonnell is that he offers absolutely nothing positive to the backline.

Hodgeson. An absolute champion, huge amount of positives.

Ryan. Solid runner and great at defusing bombs (bar one so far but was a well timed bomb and tackle)

Collis. Great skill in making past opposition centre or getting to winger in space.

Tuaiaki. Sheer power and often receives penalties getting us out of trouble when opposition lays down on him.

Lawrence. Speed and finding the try line.

Marshall. Sheer skill which is coming back nicely.

Head. great at setting up tries via kicks or short balls onto running backrowers.

Mcdonnell has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to offer this team.

Times today he was into open space but didnt use his SO CALLED PACE at all.

I noticed Te'o bludging today. We were 20 metres out from our line and getting belted and he was in the centres having a breather. Not good enough.

Wingers are the least of our concerns.

Tigers have the softest forward pack i've ever seen. Apart from Heigno, i want to know why no one runs the ball with any speed???

-Payne= awful player
-Teo= stick to trying to be a player manager u greedy ****. Passing to Hodgson so he could take a hit up was disgraceful.
-Harrison= Everyone talks him up but i dont c what the fuss is all about. Either Sheens is using him incorrectly or im a bad judge

And congrats to Morris was one of a few who actually played with some heart today.

As posted above JB wasnt bloke who cost us the game. The game was lost last Tuesday night when our "super coach" decided to take the eels on without a frontrow. Never been done before, the great man decided to take on a pack with size speed and a offload without a engine room. Bit like fighting the battle of britian in tiger moths.

These are the qualities that make him special being able to think outside the square go where no other coach has gone before. Now what has this master stroke achieved.
1--buggered the confidence of the team
2--given every other side a road map when playing the tigers
3--probably resulted in a few injuries

Now we will never know if Tandy and Harlem would have made any difference but at least they play in the front row. They both should be up at Noyce's office asking for a release

Spot on SC. All you have to be to play prop is fat, big, ugly and be able to tuck it under your wing , run hard and make a few tackles. It's not like half or hooker where you are required to direct the team. Ricky Stuart went down to Carmens and found Eddie Sua working the door and whilst he wasn't a long term option for them he dida job for a week or 2 until the big guns got back. That's all we would have required.

Another example of coach shines attempting to re-invent the wheel

Our wingers and centres do our hit ups. It's the third or fourth tackle before a forward (read: secondrower) takes a hit up.

JOKE.

Wow talk about an over reaction, dont know why i expected any less from you bunch haahha

We had NO forward pack, how could we compete with a monster team like the Eels ?? ANY team and i mean ANY NRL team would of got done by 40 yesterday if they were in the position we were regarding injuries to the forward pack.

I dont blame them at all for getting flogged, if you dont have the equipment you cant do the job and that was obvious yesterday when i saw John Morris pack into the second row of a scrum... that says it all.

Bring on the Broncos !!

It's not the scoreline that's the drama here.

It's selecting a replacement centre and second rower to play in the front row against one of the biggest and most mobile forward packs in the competition that is what everyone is most concerned about.

This wouldn't have been as big an issue against the cowboys, but against sides with proper forward packs who do actually get involved and do hard work, it's devastating to our side.

They made 700 metres more than us ffs!

700!!!!

all the broncos have to do uis follow the same game plan to smash us this week. Straight hard running, simple, quick passes and multiple phase play.

All we had to do to give parra a shake up is keep decipline and make them chase us all game, they would have tired and cracked. but dropping the pill and giving away 400 penalties obviously put the Tigers on the back foot for just about the whole game.

Everyone said that we never advanced, but we were at the eels line quite a few times to score 3 - 4 tries, but poor 5th option meant it was all pointless.

It's simple, when we come up against sides whose forwards are miles bigger than ours, we need to be running from dummy half at least twice every set, those forwards lose a lot more energy when all they do is continue to run backwards.

It's f**king Noyce you clown
And Noyce who decided to take a game to the SCG
And one to the f**king football stadium
He's a f**king wests spastic much like you
He's also the clown that employs that mulleted f**king cutie who i hope dies of a very quick cancer
f**k you, f**k Noyce and f**k the recruitment manager who has given his geniused cutie of a son a rails run into first grade

Finished your little tiff? If so I'll give you your dummy back. The pure simple fact is that one board member voted for home games to be split between LO and CS. A member from wests. If the balmian board members had of voted the same they would have got it over the line. Seems even Siro and Dawn dont wanna go to Leichhardt.
