easier to agree to avoid the online abuse

I can handle the abuse, if I don't agree with someone and I have an opinion on something I post it. As you have probably seen I have had my fair share of arguements on here and other places for that reason.

At least Te'o's there to intimidate the touchy vish

Well the blokes you continually talk up or should I say not critisize are the ones that are letting us down in this regard. If you defend inside or outside one of your teams halves, you hit hard, that`s been a must since 1908 and it will never change, but it appears you don`t understand this ???

Yep I've seen how hard Te'o hits
Cordoba's still feeling his sternum after planting the ball down so hard
You talk up Te'o and Junior Burger ... i'll talk up Heighno, Benji and Head ... we'll see who's right in 10 yrs when they've all retired eh

Well see allright, they`ll all be in the UK Super League where you can get away with hitting like a women with a handbag in 3 years time !

YEp and JB will be playing Origin
Jesus christ vish

Where not talking about JB here, he`s sacked in any case, he`s no good on the wing, wouldn`t matter how much talent he has, you need a bit of size to be an effective winger these days. I maintain he has ability, but he`s really a fullback and a fullback only, problem being he doesn`t have apparent ball skills and if you`re a small full back you need to be able to have ball skills to go with it, maybe he can develop ball skills back in the Premier League as I can assure you that Hodgo was a very ordinary ball player himself in the first half of his career despite playing a lot of halfback.
Back on topic, you are now bagging one of the only blokes who have been hitting hard all season ! We are regarded as by far the softest side in the comp bar none for a reason and that very reason isn`t because of Ben Te`o, i`ll give you the tip !!!

Right so if JB isn't a winger and by your own admission now doesn't have the makings of a good fullback, why was he signed for 3 yrs ? We all know the answer ...

Well Yes, I agree signing him for 3 years was too long. The point i`ve always made is that he has ability and is a better footballer than many others that are currently in the top 25 at their respective NRL clubs.
He is also the victim of being in a small powderpuff side. His lack of size wouldn`t be so much an issue if we had a few maniacs who hurt attacking players when they run at them, defending inside of him !

i dont see mcdonnells size being a major concern, he generally falls over before the defensive line. it dosent matter how big you are when tacklers just have to fall on you.

Size is definately a concern being a winger, especially when you have to bring the ball out of the corner from a kick return and have 5-6 blokes waiting to belt you. McDonnells strength is beating a defender one on one in broken play.

maybe if he beats them 3 meters out from the tryline, otherwise they would turn around, tie their shoe laces, wave to their mum on camera, get instructions from the trainer, then chase him down.

And yes, the officiating is a disgrace. Their first try was offside and numerous other calls (strips etc.) went the wrong way. We never get any calls.

I'll agree you got some rough calls in particular the decision to call the ball stripped from Tautai that gave Parra another set at the line and ultimately saw Cordoba score.

and the tigers "no try" to Ryan I think it was when the ball was bumped out of someones grasp by Inu's knee yet ruled a knock on by the video ref.

But Burt was in line with Finch when the ball was kicked

5---How can you expect to win any big game when you have no home ground advantage

10--the Eels could give this comp a shake

re #5: This way Parra's 3rd game this year at ANZ Stadium and they have another 3 to come this year.

Parra decided to play 2 home games at ANZ this year and the Tigers, Bunnies, Dragons and Dogs all allocated ANZ stadium as their home ground for their games against Parra.

Add to that the fact that coming into this game Parra had won something like their last 6 games at ANZ stadium.

Re #10 - I hope you're right.

Head is the best halfback born south of the Tweed currently playing the game
If Head was fit in 05 we probably (almost certainly wouldn't have a comp to our name)
Would you prefer J Mo in the 7 would you ?

YES! You've hit the nail on the head! When I made the off-hand remark that I wondered if Head could outrun McDonnell I was speaking in code (not French, mind) and what I really meant was "Gee I hope Morris gets another shot at halfback over Head soon..."

Excellent work maninthehole, go straight to the top of the class!

I think you allow your bitterness to get the better of you far too often...

The king of stereotypes and generalisations clearly has an inferiority complex...my guess is he has a really little wee wee.

That it moth?

Combined with the daily follicular challenge, I can see why any bloke would be aggro always.
