Woods hasn't signed with the Bulldogs. He will most likely end up in Belmore, but a week ago was still undecided about whether he would stay at the Tigers or commit to the Bulldogs.
Then the club imposed its deadline. Some believe the club had no choice in order to plan for the future. Woods saw it as a slap in the face.
It's a sad predicament given Woods likes new coach Ivan Cleary and believes in the vision he has for the club.
Unfortunately he might not be around to see it come to fruition. If he wants to stay a Tiger for life, all he has to do is ask and the contract will be put back on the table.
But he's been hurt by the club's ultimatum, so much so he chose to ignore some of the Tigers' hierarchy in the sheds after their win against the Bulldogs on Sunday.
