Topics on International games should be posted in the International Forum.

The International game topics should be moved to the International Forum. Where it should be. Just like this post should be moved to "Suggestion Box and Questions".

The AFL and Union ones etc however, should also be moved if the International ones are being moved.

AFL and Union have what to do with the NRL? Nothing..I think if you want to move topics, all the topics in the wrong araes have to be moved.

What is the problem? International threads should be in the International section, this is the NRL section  AFL/Union ones should be in TFC...

Mullup, you just made yourself look like a fool.

First you said you want International topics in this NRL forum, and then you agreed with what Stomp said, which was basically "put International topics in the International forum, and NRL topics here".

Mullup,
I can say that admin don't pay a great deal of attention to threads like this, and crude demands generally shunts you to the back of the queue.

There's a right way and wrong way to do everything.

A rule of thumb is to try and post in the relevant forum. That includes this thread - it should be in the suggestion box section.

Or you can send a private message to mods or admin... although you wouldn't get as wide an audience, which I suspect was part of your reasoning behind this thread.
But a more reasonable approach would see some positive action in your favour.

Yeah it's hard to click on the international forum isn't it? International games are meant for that forum. But if you cannot click on another link we apologise.

I'm the 'sad' moderator who keeps moving international threads to the international section.
I was made a moderator of this section just so I could do this - and i requested this 'power' after widely canvasing the views of forum members and putting those views to admin.
In short, everyone from the top to the bottom of the totum pole seems to agree that international discussion belongs in the international section - and I have been given the job of making that happen.
I've only had to mave about four or five threads this week and the international section seems to be much more active - so i'd say most people have 'got with the program'.

I’ve done a similar thing to Mullup in the past.

From my perspective it’s not about creating as much attention as possible – it’s about getting answers.

When I did it (created a thread) I knew of no other way and I basically got a wee slap, not for what I said, but because I didn’t go through the right channels.

Of course I know better now, but surely, admin shouldn’t take it for granted that we all do.

As for posting in the relevant forums I think at this time of the year (especially) the topic of the day, in this case, International footie should be aired in the main forum (NRL). Give it the widest possible audience, then shunt it after a couple of days.

Put it this way, my first port of call here is always the NRL forum, then if I’ve got time I’ll look at some others. The one-click rule comes into play.

I have had something shunted to the Qld section just because the word Qld was in the topic, when really it had to do with Qlders who played NRL (and it even said NRL in the topic heading).

Guess it depends on the mod who is on at the time.

It's a bit like reading a newspaper isn't it. The majority of people here visit the NRL forum. It's what they're used to doing - routine.

When you read a newspaper you read it according to the routine you're used to doing.

In regards to this site, visiting the International forum isn't the average person's first port of call.

My point - the topic of the day (the main headlines) should be aired in the main section, which in this case is the NRL section.

I'm not saying for ever just for a day or two. It'll be good for the game and good for this site.

Bengal, I understand what you're saying but... International League topics can be found in the International section.
You're one click away from it.
