Moyza having the rest of the year off as of today as he is still recovering from the mauling he received from the Temora terrier Liam Martin a few weeks ago . What a cat he has turned out to be and will never fully recover only produces his best work at Northies . I would like apologize to all sharkie fans for his performances and past duds such as Pomeroy.

Thats ok, you've made up for it tenfold with Lewis and Graham.

Yep stakey. Anybody with any common sense obviously knew you rest Johnson.
A no-brainer.
Bomber got schooled by robinson who had 5 million of talent resting up safely in the stands. Getting bodies right for tilt at a title.

What are we doing?...running our best players who all have niggles - or in the case of johnson just returned from 3 weeks out injured - around for 80 minutes in a game that meant nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
Johnson is not 100%.
Trindall is.
Hes sitting in the stands watching.

For once - just once - the rugby league gods smiled on us and gave us 2 weeks to tune up and get muscles and tissues right...but instead once again we head into the playoffs with marquee players injured.

We are so far off the pace in regards to professionalism it is embarrassing.
What a dumf**k decision by a coach.
Great call bomber. Idiot.

Sure we could have rested players, but we need our best players on the field as often as possible to try and find some kind of form heading into the end of the season.

each to their own. I think we’ve already proven we are an inconsistent team (mainly due to the inexperience) and our attack is the least of our problems mainly due to SJ. We were a team that had the potential to at least jag a win for a week or two if we were on against a top team and they were slightly off.. not anymore. just my opinion.

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. Not playing well enough to compete without the top players. A bad flogging destroys fragile confidence. Losing important players to injury removes any chance of jagging a finals win.

Easts can rest players as they have depth and every player knows their role. The system is so grooved it is dependent on a couple of top players. Clearly, the Sharks are nowhere near that level.

Yep all good bro.
I just don’t think it does our team any good to run out 2 rookie halves and then take one of them out and reinsert sj when we play in the semis.

we need team cohesion, you only get that with time played together.

just my opinion also

Bullshite.
Who gives a fair flying fpharkk about building combinations and gelling or whatever.
These guys have had 20 games together this year. They train together 10 times a week. Theyre professional and they still play like a bunch of strangers at times.

We drop the pill in our FIRST set. Against the premiers!
But hey - anybody can make a mistake right.
Then we spill it in the 2nd set.
That shows where we are.
We are amatuers.

They could have a dozen more games and we wouldnt improve. Its just where we are. Bombers great. Gives 150% but these guys need more coaching.
At another level coaching.
The rorters coordinated structured defence kept our meterage to minimal.
Our defence..we stand on the line and do our best. Park footy at times. The captain even looks lost at times.
We havent been able to get beyond this in 20 weeks - it wasnt gonna happen in the next 2.

Our best chance in the finals was a fit healthy best 17 who turn up and do their best. Be enthusiastic and throw the dice.

Nek 2 weeks ...Give all our goodwins magoos and wiltons et al 2 weeks to go wild while our stars do a SOO type leadup to our biggest game of the year.
If we lost these last 2 games we come 8th.
If we win we come 8th.

Anyways...that's why we are where are.
And the top 4 are where they are.

Super pizzed off as a supporter because this didnt need to happen. We did this to ourselves.

You didnt get the point.
You think the next 2 weeks of running our star playmaker around - a guy whos not 100% - was going to do something the previous 20 weeks didnt??
Lol.

I understand the thinking that a bad loss damages the confidence, but we lost anyway and with that loss lost our best player. If Johnson was a Chad style player who plays a thousand games in a row and doesn’t get injured I’d be more inclined to play him but the fact is he’s not, and it’s obvious he was most likely rushed back last week because we knew that was our best chance of winning and cementing a spot in the finals. What’s our confidence gonna be like now going in to the biggest game of the year against probably last years grand finalists at their home ground without our best player?
