A time for some sportsmanship, please

Guys, a lot of you have been visiting our forum lately (which is all cool).

Whilst most of you are intelligent and rational people, there are some real aresholes amongst going out of your way to irritate Eels fans.

I am not a role model for patience - some of these aforementioned people have really pissed me off. I feel if I came onto this board and annoyed the crap out of you and said how crap your team was the fair enough.

But that is not the case - I have no problem with Manly. I have issues with Crusher and Hasler annoys me, but I think it's great that Manly seem to be finally getting back on track. We are traditional rivals, but the only teams I despise are the Dogs (could they screw up the game any more?and the Chooks I simply love how there are two sets of rules in the NRL = one for the Chooks and one for everyone else).

So I am just attemtping to appeal to a common sense of decency - please try to refrain from giving my fellow Eels fans crap. I myself feel ambiguous about Witt's release - he is young and has talent, but then he never showed anything much. What really irks me is that we signed him for 4 years and then dumped him.

Please do not give us crap - we are all deeply, deeply annoyed at the recent happenings regarding our club, and I hardly think it is fair to come onto our board and give us crap.

Seriously though, I do hope you get rid of those two goose Fitz and Smith. They're holding you back something terrible. We really ought to send them a Christmas card to thank them for destroying what should have been a Dynasty to rival the Lions in the AFL.

Eelementary, nothing wrong with friendly rivalry...if Manly supporters are posting rubbish and stirring up Eels supporters in YOUR Parra section, then PM the Eels moderators and they will get rid of the offending threads\posts....but if Manly supporters are rubbishing your club in THIS MANLY section....well they are welcome to rubbish any team they like and say what they like IN THIS SECTION....so although I understand your concerns, I don't see how this thread helps amigo! PM your Eels mods if you want stuff in your Parra section deleted/edited.......leave us so called dillusioned Manly fans to our devious ways in here...our Manly section :lol:

I had a bit of fun in there yesterday but there was nothing that I posted that was over the top.I gave opinions and in return alot of your fans returned the courtesy,if anything some of your guys over reacted and an Administrator even called me a Dickhead with out to much provacation....Not a very good example to be setting in my opinion.

I welcome other fans into this forum for a bit of banter not unlike I was experiencing yesterday it makes the place interesting.Unfortunately there are some fans(from all teams) that have poor mental capacity and have to be derogatary to make up for it.

Yeah mate I understand that - if you guys want to rubbish the Eels in the Manly forum that's fine. I can see that.

It just hurts me that we have two arseholes running my dearly beloved club, and they seem more intent on helping others to succedd.

I mean fair enough - release Witt. But shouldn't they have done it earlier, so we could have had a better crack at Firman or Orford?

I'm not asking you guys to respect me or my club.

I'm just asking for some clemency when you visit our forum - Brian Smith and Dennis Fitzgerald have both angered us very much in recent years.

Yeah I know.

But that's what I mean - I'm already a bee's dick away from murdering Fitzy and BS in cold blood, so I'm already angry.

I even reacted and called someone a rude name. I'm not proud of it, and I'm not defending my actions. What drove me to it is the fact that while your team strives for success (and good on you guys for it too), our team and its idiot administartors don't seem to care about our future - just next year.

Mate, Des Hasler might annoy me from time to time, but I'd take him any day over Smith. At least Hasler had some mild success with an underperforming team.

Look at Smith - Lyon, Vaealiki, Hindmarsh, Cayless, Dykes, young Witt... and still nothing?

Amigo, I'm an aussie but lived in Santiago for 3 years teaching english and working with street kids, lived near the Gran Avenida most of my time there in suburbs like La Cisterna and San Miguel.......not trying to change the subject of this thread but what were you doing in Santiago amigo???
