I felt sorry for them being Parramatta fans and all. It's not as though they're at the high end of the biological swamp ;-)

They won 4 premiership in 7 years because they somehow managed to hold on to an exceptional crop of juniors in a very different age when loyalty to club was often valued higher than the almighty buck.

Take those seven years out of the picture and their history is one of complete bumbling ineptitude.

That is where my dislike for the eels comes from,I am glad of one thing thou, when I had a choice of colours to see who I would barrack for I was glad I liked the Maroon and white.Dissapointed at the time but turned out to be the best decision in the long run.

As with most youngsters the colours/jersey's that they like are the team they initially follow, nothing different in my case.I would love to live or have grown up in the Manly district but for one important point.......It's in stinkin NSW.

Unlike so many so called supporters that did jump ship to the drongos I couldn't,that's not what following a side is about. It always makes me chuckle to read/hear someone start a sentence "I used to follow...........".Bloody bandwagoners as far as I am concerned which sums up alot of Bronco supporters, the only exception are the ones that didn't really have a team they felt close enough to in the NSWRL and youngsters.

You might get away with that out west but you have to be a lot quicker and wittier than that to get a luagh in Manly.

yes but does your cousin think hes better than anyone else like milk does no im sure he doesnt as most manly fans dont have such a high opinion of themselves just normal down to earth people ;-) however ther is always an exception to the rule.
