Aaron Woods has been offered 950K by the Sharks, 3 year deal starting 2019.
But Woods wants to go back to the Tigers and play with his mates. He is happy to take a 700K contract at the Tigers, he is a big fan of Cleary and the feelings are mutual. If Tigers can fit Aaron in he'll be a tiger, if they can't make it work then he will likely be a Shark.

I'm no big Woods fan, but his being overrated by selectors has led to him becoming a bit underrated by league fans.

The truth is he's in between both of those extremes. Solid player, makes good metres and good stats, but unfortunately lacks the grunt you want in his position.

Wouldn't want him for any more than 550k or so. Which isn't gonna happen

For 2019 we need two more forwards as it appears our young guns are not ready. So with Ah Mau going to the Warriors and James possibly abscent with injury more often, I'd like to see the following:
A prop rotation of Vaughan, Frizell, James and a new top grade prop.
Backup props Latimore, Lawrie and Kerr
Backrow rotation of Sims, De Belin, Host, Aitken
Backup backrowers Leilua, Sele and a new top grade secondrow forward.

Agree possm- and the words "top grade"of course rule out Aaron Woods- The Panthers pinched Merrin off us so I say we raid their ranks. They have ridiculous depth and with at least six players injured are still leading both the NRL and the ISP. They must be heading towards salary cap issues with the quality and depth of their squad.

As Brutalitops has said , the man really does lack that grunt , the ooophm that one would expect from a player of his size . However with the right coach and also the right attitude , that is realising that he needs to pick his game up , he would still be a very good forward .
However it is up to him to make a conscious decision that he must improve his game .

I’m hearing he’s signed already for the Sydney Rooster Battery Hens.

He’s prepared to drop a skirt size or two to make the grade.

Coach Greg Alexander, himself a big tart, had promised Woods a sports bra sponsorship to clinch the deal.

Mr Woods has spoken about her delight in signing with a team, worthy of rorting the system.

He isn’t coming back to the Tigers, not for the next few years anyway. You’re right he and Cleary left on good terms but we’re well served at prop and Ivan said so on Sunday.

Matulino and Packer are on big money. Twal and Eisenhuth are here for 3 more years. Cleary rates Tom Mikaele (Jnr Maroon’s captain) and has him in the top squad next year. He has also signed a prop from Penrith lower grades he likes from his time there (name escapes me) for 2019. There isn’t room or need for him at Wests.
