The question is, is Keating a better option then what we currently have? With Pritchard injured I reckon Keating would be a better option, thus but do we even have any cap space available for a signing ?I reckon it depends if the nrl gives us some exemption due to peats injury. I am not sure if they will as it is our stupidly not having cover for hooker in our squad.

I think I have only ever seen ONE good game from MK .... v Penrith at Parra in 2009.
In that golden run , MK had Kingston in tandem and a host of players in great form around him , so that all he had to do was get it to the likes of Hayne , Moi Moi and dare I say it Mortimer.
And although I was glad to see the back of him , he remains the least destructive option that we have.
And that is sad

Yeah but I doubt most NRL clubs would have their number 2 back up hooker being an under 20 player who has had on-going injury concerns. But then he did sign foran and jones who seem to have been terrible

I would chase Heath L'Estrange is very experienced and his service and defence are better than Keating. He isnt getting a look in with Friend and Mortimer in front of him.

Jones hasn't been terrible from what i've seen. I'd go with him this week over kelly though at least he's an actual hooker

He would just be like Casey McGuire. Have a couple of ok games then just fail. I'd go for a young bloke like Joel Luani who is sitting behind Farah and wanting a full time gig for the remainder of the season. We did Tigers a favour of releasing Santi back to them pretty much now their turn haha

Yeah I thought of him as an option. Most clubs would be unwilling to release players that has been mention but considering heaths age I doubt roosters would stop him from leaving.

The only reason clubs would agree to release any player would be to free up cap space. That means only top 25 players, and only if we paid a significant portion of the contract. Which we can't afford to do.

The All-Star Aborigines hardly count for NRL experience. Obviously he has the attacking skills to play hooker, as well as red hair (so he should be a decent defender) but his experience there is pretty much limited to a few NSW Cup appearances this year. Even then he has mostly played in the halves.

Sterlo admitted that Arthur recognises there is no NRL-standard back-up hooker in the squad he'd been left to cover Peats for injury (or a break during the game).

i'd still put him there. I mean Kelly isn't much better anyway
