I'm sure I saw him hurt it during the Tigers game and I think he's been carrying it ever since. His play has been down the last few games. I'm not sure we have an answer other then to do the best with what we have.

He hasn't looked right for a few games now!

Let's hope the back up can do an adequate job.

This is a call to arms for the other tight forward to lift their intencity in defense. There is no doubt that Peats was leading from the front in that department!

I heard* that Nathan was going to sit out the Panthers game, but then he heard that Jarryd was too tired to play and felt that he couldn't leave the team without both it's stars.

*I heard it from my arse.

This will test our depth. It will show how we are without one of our best out there. Time to step up big time

Bringing Jones in late in the off season may prove to be a great thing by Arthur

See what happens when you go shopping in Redfern . Ones a gambler , ones a good player on shot legs and the other is the equivalent of buying Leyland P76 off Parramatta road .

Tbh I think it was a mistake to play Peatsy for 80 minutes anyway. Wouldn't surprise me if this contributed to his injury.

Given the new rules, I think it is greatly beneficial to have a second hooker come on to give the first one a break. Peats could still play 60 minutes a game, but he could have a short break to rest up and recover.

It's just my opinion, anyway - I've noticed that the Dogs don't use two hookers, and neither do Manly - but they both employ hookers who have been playing at this level for ages. Peats is a relative noob tbh.

The ageing blokes would be able to handle it better than the fit young guys.

Yeah, that's what I meant - Ennis and Ballin are used to the grind of regular, weekly First Grade NRL footy, so a change to the rules shouldn't affect them too much.

But Nathan Peats hasn't played much First Grade consistently up until 2014, and he certainly hasn't played big minutes regularly until 2014. I think we should have had cover on the bech for him.

But it's all academic now. I hope whoever replaces him (Pritchard, I hope) does a great job.
