When I was a kid, I asked my grandfather "Pop, whats a rabbitoh? Is it like a rabbit?" He replied "Kind of, but they changed it because it was always the scoreboard at the end of the game" He had to write it down for me. Rabbits-0
The Alan Bond reference was a personal favourite, most League fans under 25 or so would be scratching there heads wanting to now what youtube video Bondy got famous for.
I agree that Richo crossed the line, but I have no problem with Crowe's tweet.
So it's ok for people to mislead but it's not ok to have some FOI. If he's going to leave us for bigger money he has every right to, but to turn around and say it's not about the money is ridiculous and Crowe was making sure everyone knew.I don't think the club owner should reveal a player's salary to the whole world, it's a breach of privacy.

And privacy? f**k privacy, he won't be caring about privacy when he's driving his new sports car.
The fact that we resigned him for this year showed more than enough loyalty. And I've heard we'll be offering him a job off field after this year. That's plenty of loyalty.stay classy San Diego....
lets see souths loyalty when its time to resign wesser ?

We didn't (and we couldn't, even if we wanted to) force him to go. The Storm were offering the 1 guaranteed year plus 2 option years in his favour, he was given permission to negotiate by us and he found himself a superior deal. If he never found that deal he'd still be with us now. What about Beau Champion? You sure were loyal to him eh
you treated him well, but not with any loyalty. showing loyalty would have had him as part of your direction. We didn't (and we couldn't, even if we wanted to) force him to go. If you're boss told you "mate, you're contracted to us for X $ and Y years, but we're looking to go in another direction, you're free to look for another place of employment while still being contracted to us and if you can find something better than you currently have, you're free to leave" you'd be entirely happy with that.
We treated him perfectly well.

Well we did show him loyalty. In the first place we picked him up as a Titans reject, then put years and years into him. We suffered through a whole bunch of mediocre performances from him and helped him develop into the player he may be turning into now. How many critics told us over and over again to sack him and get a "good" halfback? So how is that any different with Sandow then?

The club embarrassed themselves with those two comments.
But we've put a lot of time into Chris over the last 3 years, when a lot of people were calling him rubbish and a total liability, they persevered, obviously hoping that they would see a return. We haven't yet, but things are looking promising. Now, he's gone. The only place he was going when we stepped in was the highway back to Cherbourg.
With the time and effort put into perspective, and the fact that he did agree to stick around as recently as Monday night, I can understand Richo and Hando's disappointment. The emotional investment in Chris was huge and these two are obviously passionate. Their passion and disappointment got the better of them this morning. If they had their time again I don't believe that they would of made the comments that they did. It reflected badly on the entire club.
