I think that would have been part of the deal that Flanno appointed Dean as part of the coaching staff .........
I did, but did anyone else hear the praise from certain players for what Deano did in the off season. Jayden S'ua was positively gushing . So what the F**K has happened since the first round with our middle defense back to as bad as the past two years..

Something crook must have happened to get this side the way they are after the round 1 game. Is there no killer instinct amongst the crew now? Is training too hard for the poor pets? Don't they understand the word defence? Don't they care to win? Come on guys you are all better than that. Time to reload and start firing again boys.

This is great news for the club. To have a member of our staff in that camp building relationships with elite players is very handy.
Agreed.
Coaching wise, not sure if he will pick up much from Daley.
The opportunity comes though to learn whatever he can from a master coach like Bellamy.

Good on Deano for this great opportunity. He really is working hard on his resume to become an NRL coach. This may also help the Dragons as Deano may have some say in some Dragons boys making the Blues squad if they are performing well.

And if the NSW side get flogged what will people say then?

Will that be good for his resume?

We are a team very much in in need of every man on deck hands on all year f**k SOO.
Yep I agree. Less distractions the better. You want origin players but I’d rather be selfish and see the team left alone for the 6 week disruption period

When Daley & Fittler were there before the team were running around with beers in their hand so nothing to learn there.

Yes 6 weeks of non interrupted coaching, bonding, revision etc but what do we allow to happen our defence coach to be anywhere else but at our club.

Dumb shit.
