The Roosters were the better team. But that game is now history. Cant wait till the rematch on grand final day.

The real reason I want the Chooks to choke in the finals is so there is no excuse for Piss in Origin again

Like that matters. He is an auto pick for NSW there is nothing he can do that will make them stop picking him.

I hope sutton and reynolds get picked next year for origin. It will reveal how shit they really are. Sutton played so terrible last night haha. Good luck in the finals cause youre definitely gonna need it

Reminds me of the Souths supporters who protested so loudly for the inclusion of Nathan Merritt in Origin awfully quiet after the event.

Pearce wouldn't be in the reckoning for QLD but his the best we got atm at least until Brooks proves otherwise.

Sutton isn't fit and neither is Inglis, with this souths only attack is coming from issac Luke. Against a team like the tigers he was good enough to get enough points on his own for souths to win, against another top 4 side he can't do it all.

A fully fit sutton an Inglis make souths a much more dangerous team. Neither looked confident going to the line last night which is their strnegth. Reynolds simply isn't good enough to make up for them being unfit

As I said in the South's forum he can't pass left to right under pressure.

Needs to play on the left or even become a 9 eventually.

Maloney missed tackles last night - 4
Pearce missed tackles last night - 5
Reynolds missed tackles last night - 0

Cool stat. What that doesn't show however is how Reynolds is a spot defender, and causes those standing next to him doubt his defensive abilities. Particularly when an edge backrower runs at him. Even if he makes the tackle, there's likely a quick play the ball to follow, not to mention extra defenders attracted to cover his deficiencies.

He is talented Reynolds, but teams have worked him out. He shouldn't represent.

Maloney 2 tries
Pearce 1 try

Reynolds no tries, no try assists, no line breaks, no line break assists, no repeat sets

I think you are being a tad harsh on Jamie Soward. He has played in a winning state of origin team, whilst Adam Reynolds needs his monster pack to fire, for him to stamp his authority on a match.
Everyone who has been death riding. Mitchell Pearce, be careful what you wish for.

Reynolds was hopeless against a depleted roosters team.
