Depends on the number of jerseys made. Theres a setup cost for the template and then an additional cost per jersey. The cost of a jersey reduces with increasing numbers made. Would need to make at least 25-30 to make the cost per jersey reasonable. We also wouldn't be able to use the NRL (or Panda Security) logo on them.

This forum would be an idea. I know companies like Kooga and Akuma charge like 70-80 for a kit.

Jersey would cost between $40-$55 buck to get done up.

I know Kooga needs a minimum 15 to do a run.

I'd definitely get one, and I know a few people here in Adelaide would.

By the way, I realise it is a piss take but i think it could do well to get some interest in Rugby League Adelaide.

Maybe replace the NRL logo with the SARL logo if they would allow it, I don't see why they wouldn't it would just be free publicity for them.

sponsored by this forum ???

That's a great idea.

I'm on board with this, maybe we should have a poll to find out which design is most popular and the one that win's is the one we have made.

If we could get it at the right price, and get enough interested, could we give money to the SARL to help them run junior Panda programs?

.

The SARL have a preferred local supplier, sportscentre, and have given them exclusive use of their logo. Sportcentre make decent enough jersey's(jersey's are $55) but I would prefer a bigger company like Kooga do it (and they're cheaper).

Get a bunch of Pandas jerseys made as cheap as possible sell them on with all the profit being donated to SARL, on the conditions that they let us use the SARL logo on the jersey and that the donated money go's exclusively to a SARL school program called the Pandas program.

It would take a lot of jerseys and a lot of people willing to buy the jerseys, a lot more then just the people on this forum. We would have to get the larger RL community involved, the question is how do we do that?

We could contact ARLC and try and get there help, but they would probably just say its a good initiative. What would be a better idea would be to convince a couple of players to wear the jerseys and go to some sort of press conference with the SARL and get it into the media that way, but that would be very hard unless someone new a relatively famous player?

What would be the best publicity would be to convince one of the NRL teams to wear the jersey (or some other part of the Pandas uniform like the socks) in a NRL or trial game.

But all of that is just theoretical, and would take a lot of time and dedication, it is possible and a very good idea but even just getting SARL on board could turn into a challenge.

There's ways around that. Even if the SARL refuse/can't let us use there logo then it's no big deal we'll just put something else on there that means something to South Australian Rugby League history like the Rams logo for example.

GAZF why haven't you got regular work in the NRL? You are easily the best jersey/football branding designer I have ever encountered, and believe it or not I have met a few brand designers (I guess that's what you would call them?) in my time and none of them are as good as you when it comes to sports, admittedly none of them work for/with sports groups but the point still stands.
