Also LAX (Ortiz & Santana) made their debuts. Word is that the LAX name will stay with Impact Wrestling, so I guess they will go back to being called EFYBO.

Really wasn't very impressed with All Out. Production was very amateur (camera work wasn't very good, they didn't have a loop of Cody's music, wrong name was shown for Darby Allin, they showed the ref handing Jericho a blade quite obviously, you could hear them counting down the end of the show). They didn't follow any rules (Spears not able to to hit Cody with one belt but then hits him with another in full view of Hebner, it seems like no one ever tags in or out of a tag match) and just general botches (Page never got close to being back in the ring for a 10 count so the ref just ignored it, Cody trying to bring out his dog that didn't want to be there).

They have so much that will need to be improved on for when they go on TV. If they don't lift their game they will be no where near able to compete with NXT

As awesome as it was, that Bucks/Luchas match was incredibly dangerous. God damn, a leap over the ladder canadian destroyer through a table...the spot when one of the bucks clipped the top rope when falling off the ladder...amongst others. One of these days someones gonna get very hurt or worse.

As for the rest of the card, Omega/Pac was ok, opener was fun, womens match was alright, cody/tye was gaga overload, main event was a bit dull, LAX coming in is a good move, dark odour need to f**k off asap, Jurassic Express are entertaining.

Reading the results, there really isn’t anything I’m too keen on checking out. Maybe the Jericho vs Page match just to see a new champ crowned, but even then I’m in no rush.

On deeper reflection, the fact that aew couldn’t come to a deal with a channel on fox or fta here after close to a year to prepare for launch is really concerning. It’s not like we are a backwater market, so gotta wonder what they’ve been doing. Also will do nothing to attract the casual fan if you have to be on a dedicated fight app to get the show

Yuck yuck yuck yuck

We are a backwater market for everyone. North + Central America & Europe would be AEW’s main targets. After that would be Asia and the Middle East. We fall in with South America & Africa - a lot of effort for minimal return. They won’t be touring here for years at best, and we are extremely expensive to get to. Add in that wrestling isn’t in huge demand here, and that is why you need to pay to see their show. Remember, when TNA was at its hottest, they got dropped by Fox, and only came back after a petition. Then got dropped again. ROH has never been on TV here, even when it was setting the wrestling world on fire.
