The threat AFB within 15 metres of line and can also put a great offload on, the player who could benefit is Nikora, he cuts inside off a AFB offload who basically draws in 3 defenders
For Nikora it would mean the lines he customarily runs and the way he runs his lines would have to change. I don't think I want him being a back up player in the middle. It would be taking away a wider threat. Being AFBs follower has Brailey written all over it. That kid has to stay in the play all the time this year.

100%

No chance Fitz takes away one of our best if not best attacking threat of the past few years.

If Brailey doesn’t follow AFB then we need to look elsewhere. If I was him, id be frothing at the opportunity to add a running threat to my game at dummy half and really compete as the best 9 inNSW.

I reckon there’s going to be some value from a ‘tryscorer’ betting perspective in our team this year. AFB’s odds will be quite low as he’s a known scorer, but I’d expect Hazo and BHU to get in on the action too - either from a little tip on, or because of the space around the ruck that the threat of AFB will create. Bloody hell, even Brailey might attempt a burrow over once this year.
Brailey is 100% the key - he has to have a little deception near the line, can’t just chuck it to AFB and hope for the best. But AFB, plus a little Brailey creativity should cause the other teams mayhem, and our front rowers should benefit,

No chance
The voting system is not great.

The primary votes (which are NOW even more heavily weighted) usually go to the media faves, who are also the easy / lazy / safe option.

If a team only has ONE decent player (according to the media), they have a huge advantage.

So, I agree - AFB is not likely to get it. Hynes will get a big share of the votes, whether warranted or not.

What I am saying is everyone in our team has to be ready for that AFB offload, Nikora has the jink and speed to change direction that's where he can benefit.

What we can't do now we have AFB, is that McInnes tries a crash play, we have enough big mobile guys to make that work.

I want Kennedy to be following AFB as well ready for the offload, and if he is not there then Ison gets the call ip
