Should be like the Women's and include the ADF, First Nations & NSW Country for more competition.

It was a terrible format. Teams playing each other for 30 or 40 minutes then one team resting whilst one team played the rested team For a second 40 minutes,
Made the whole thing a bit of a farce and pointless excercise tbh. They’ve turned a genuine state championship into a series of short trial matches for the cas rep team. I didn’t think it could get much worse for the non heartland states, but it just has lol

Sas WA play the nsw country bulls in a warm up,game for nrl at nib stadium, was a cracking game and evenly matched. Anything but the farce we’ve just seen will be an improvement. Someone at nrlhq needs to answer why SA has disappeared, they are after all now running SARL! Running it into the ground by looks of it!

Just gets better, not only was the cas championship a farce, but turns out there is no cas rep team or tour this year. Geez could the nrl care any less about growing the game?

I don't think the NRL cares at all about park footy at Senior level. As long as they have enough junior pathways to make it to the NRL and get good tv/stadium deals that's all they care about. The CAS tournament this year sounded like a shit show.

The Championship will be held in St Marys, NSW on 21-24? September 2023.

Most of the states have named train on squads so far.

This year, Victoria will be taking two squads to the U17s CAS championships, consisting of 14 players in each squad - a total of 28 players selected.

The rest of the team will be made up of players from South Australia across both teams (20 in each).
