Look, he should have been more desperate.

Honing in on him is obviously on the agenda for many on here, but the sooner you realise he ain't the problem the quicker you might see it.
Your post was crap and you as per usual tried to defend the indefensible.
The mistake was Aitken's pure and simple and you tried to offload it onto someone else.
Just admit your error instead of trying to wriggle out of it.

Although Lomax is very strong, I've seen him manhandle some big forwards while playing short minutes in the middle.
Yeah he is. I reckon he’s put on a few kgs since the Dragons updated their website. Looks closer to 100 to me.

Lomax is the best 3/4 at the club on today's showing. He's only played a handful of games and is so cool under pressure. He's confident, goes looking for the ball, and is creative with it. Admittedly he doesn't have some of the classic Aitken skills, like sprinting out of the line and letting tries in behind you, or ambling after the ball and letting another guy run around you to retrieve possession when the game is on the line, but we could probably do with a bit less of those unique skills in any case.

Lomax MUST be the first centre picked for next week. Picking him on the wing again would be reminiscent of when NSW picked Noddy at half, and Joey at hooker, because although Joey was the best half, he was also the best hooker.

Lomax might be the best right winger at the club, but he is also (far and away) the best right centre. He will be most impactful at right centre. Pick him at right centre. It's not that hard.

Nuf sed.

Lol. I'm not wriggling from anything. I didn't play today.

We don't think he is the problem. We just believe he is not the best 3/4 at the club and that Mary has a tailor-made position ready for him at #14. There is no shame in that and I can see him being a damaging player off the bench which would improve the team overall as well.

Edit.

Herbert is having a blinder marking Chambers tonight...
See, this one bugs me far more than Rueben Garrick (who I could understand letting go). I mean, if we’d offered him a contract to work as depth and continue to develop and he chose to leave, I’d probably understand - Lomax was ahead of him by the end of last year. But that’s not the case.

Herbert had a killer junior resume. Been in our system for years. NYC captain. Junior kiwis captain. NSW Cup team of the year. And now he goes on to debut elsewhere and has a blinder up against an Aus rep centre.

Meanwhile, we scour NSW Cup to find the winger with the lowest footy IQ and keep him in first grade at all costs!

How are we so bad at identifying which players will best make the transition to first grade?
