Will you d*ckheads all just chill the f**k out....

Daneel, c'mon McManus is a bad example.... it's not like any of us wanted him picked unlike Folau, Inglis etc??

I think we can all agree that it would be better if it was purely picked on where you were born.

At the end of the day, it sucks to see QLDers in Blue jumpers and vice versa. The Greg Inglis origin saga, for example, is a disgrace.

Its a difficult one PG. If i was born a couple of weeks premature i would have been born in nsw ( My father was in the defence force, in fact if i was born 6 months earlier i would have been born in South Aus). The only time ive wanted a nsw rugby league team to win was when they were playing nz in that silly tri series they had in super league.

Peter Sterling was born in the same town i was, but i don't think his family lived in qld long enough for him to take his first steps and i don't think he ever would have thought of himself as a qlder.

In theory i can agree that where you were born should be your state but like in most things in life there will always be exceptions to the rule.

I will never understand why a player like Inglis would choose to play for Qld over a state where he was born and bred. However the selectors pick him and i will cheer for him like he is one of my own. Hell i went to school with a kid who had never been further south than townsville but supported nsw because he preffered sky blue over maroon, go figure.

The first question i ask someone in qld who tells me they support nsw is are you from nsw. If they say yes i say cool. If they say no i say your a f*ckhead mate.

Look im rambling on trying to make my point when really i need to get my son to swimming and my girls to ballet so ill just finish up by saying PG i wasn't trying to get a rise out of you talking about Ken Nagas almost in tears at a press conference. The way i remember it that is a fact and just thought it was a funny story to share.
