Well they’ve done as good a job promoting this game as the socceroos did for Asian Cup

It’s an exhibition match a few weeks before the season starts. I don’t blame players for not wanting to risk injury in the game.

The NFL “all stars” match was few weeks back, if NRL are adamant keeping this fixture, especially preseason, the least they could do is go the less collisional alternative.
It just seems to me this game could be handled about a dozen better ways than it is. Unless their intention is to kill it off.
