I'm watching it only because its footy. However, I feel the concept is subtly tinged with political correctness. That will probably make me a racist in some people's eyes.

Anyway, if some high profile player (Smith, Inglis, Thurston, Slater, etc.) cops a season ending injury in this match, will all the wowsers come crawling out of the floorboards calling for its demise?

Probably.

Good post. There will be a lot of changing opinions if one or more of those players you mention were to cop serious, season ending injury. Well, from north of the border (and Bowraville) anyway!

Love it and everything it stands for.

The concept is great and I love the vibe that comes from this game. A move in the right direction was the NRL moving it away from Robina. I believe the love should be shared with this game. I'd like to see it get to more regional areas as well.

what I find rediculous is how some of the Indidgenous players qualify, bliney Bird is whiter than me, and is you look up Indidgenous up in the dictionary it say "of that land" news flash I was born here so am of this land therefore I am indidgenous.

but lastly, learn, earn, legend, now thats sad, I went to school got a job so now I am a legend, surely it takes more to be a legend than to get a job. sadly this is legendary status in the aboriginal comunity, now everyone crucify me
You can't spell.

You're ignorant.

You judge a person's background on the colour of their skin.

You're a racist.

You have NFI about the celebration of indigenous culture.

Rugby League is the greatest game of all with a long history of being open to people from all backgrounds. The All Stars match is another indication of that.

I suggest you drag yourself into the here and now... kicking and screaming if neccessary.

If you had to look up the word in a dictionary, would it have killed you to spell indigenous the same way it did?

Yeah that's me racist as. That's why me misses is a different race and culture than myself and for last 20 years have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for overseas orphanages and visited 2 orphanages 11 times all done at my own expense and i would of done more than half you guys here so yeah keep the racist comments coming
Having a wife from a different country doesn't make you any more or any less racist. Your statement in itself is racist.

The rest of your post reads like complete BS.

I hope they bench O'Neill and give Hayne his rightful fullback spot. Would be a bit of a piss take to the "All Stars" name if the Storm replacement gets too much game time at Haynes expense, seeing as he's not a star player by any measure.

Good news for Storm fans, no point a star like Slater risking further injury by playing if he's not at 100%
