American Pre-paid phone

Hi people

My wife and I are off to the states next wednesday and my wife borrowed an American pre-paid phone from a friend of hers which still contains some credit, now we know what the local number is but what we would like to know is if someone here wants to call us, what numbers should they dial to reach us??

ie: 00 11 49 0 (local number)..

When calling Australian mobiles from the UK, I think you dial 0011 61 and then the phone number without the first zero.

When dialling UK mobiles from here, I dial 0011 44 and then the number without the first zero.

I think the US intenrational code is 1... so maybe from here you'd dial 0011 1 and then the mobile number without the first zero?

I sms a mate in the states a fair bit and the number is +1 (571) XXX-XXXX
