If Ryan Rodgers is healthy and playing for the Knights the Bulls could have a real problem on their hands... The Raiders should make short work of the Sharks though

I'd love to see the Sharks win.
I've always thought they have the best approach to development in the US, so I want them to do well.
Maybe they need a name change. Naming a team after a side that has never won anything is a worry.

Roopy - I agree with you. Developing home grown players is the way to go. It looks like the Fight have also been instrumental in this as well.

When their is a game - their is always a chance.

Slow Frontrower,

I have to disagree with you. I think it's going to be a good game and the Sharks are coming out on top. I also think the knights will pull off an upset against the Bulls.

The problems I see with the sharks is they are very light on numbers, and traveling three and half hours is gonna be tough for them, also they dont have a lot of speed or size.

The Knights are going to depend on injuries if they come out healthy they could have a huge upset.

Some questions for all the people out there who think the Bulls will get upset by the Knights this weekend at Jack Person stadium?

Question - When was the last time the Bulls lost a home game?

Answer – 2003 Grand Final against the Wildcats

Question – What was the score when the Bulls played the knights in their last meeting?

Answer – Bulls 68 Knights 8 in a game that the Bulls controlled 70 minutes

Question – Who did the Bulls, beat last week?

Answer – The Connecticut Wildcats, a team that most thought were unbeatable.

Yes this match between the Bulls and the Knights will not be 68 to 8 outcome. I think it will be a closer match somewhere in the area of 40 – 24. I think in the second half of the season the Bulls have proved that they are still the team to beat, and the defending champions. So all the people who are writing off the Bulls I would ask you to take a minute a rethink your answer. As for other people I think they don’t want the Bulls to win, because they don’t want to see the Bulls in the championship or have to play the Bulls in the championship. However, the Bulls have to get past the Knights this weekend, and then the Fight the following weekend before they think about the championship.

As for the Sharks and the Raiders match the question should be; “Can the Sharks beat the Raiders”? I would say yes, the Sharks can beat the Raiders. However, I do not think they will beat the Raiders. I think the Raiders are to skillful, and physical for the Sharks. I however think the Sharks are faster then the Raiders. Also the Sharks have been nursing some injuries to some of there key players. This is why their numbers have not been as good this year. I also do not think the Sharks will travel with enough players in order to beat the Raiders. If the Sharks win they will have to bring 23 to 25 guys. I would say the score will be in the area of 40-30.

lol, t-hawk you make me laugh... if you think the knights are a pushover, you've got the wrong idea. As much as you claim the Bulls have improved i can assure you the knights are a completely different team than the last one you saw. They may have the most explosive player in the league in ryan rogers as well as a super tough pack led by big rocco and matty astill .

if the sharks can keep up with the raiders pace and physicality for the first 20 to 30 minutes they have a chance. But as everyone in the Amnrl knows if you dont travel with good numbers you really dont have much of a chance anyhow. hopefully the sharks will come with 20 or so players and give the raiders a run for their money

By the way the cats would love to play the Bulls again this season !

Because of the rules in the Amnrl teams can very efficiently keep moving players on and off the pitch throughout the game essentially keeping fresh players on the field at all times. if you are a team like the bulls and have 8-12 players on your bench moving in and out of the game fatigue does not become a factor especially for the big fellas who would normally have a hard time staying on the pitch for more than 10 minutes.

I agree that 17 should be enough and soon they should put a cap on the number of players allowed on the bench. this type of rule would really help traveling teams in a league where it is not uncommon to travel 3 hours for a conference match.

phat cat;

I see you used the Bulls as an example of having allot of guys for home matches. However, you do not mention the numbers that the Raiders, Wildcats, and Knights get at home matches. When the Bulls played the Knights this year in NY I think they suited up 25 people. Last year when we played the Wildcats at the Wildcats they had enough players to side a second team. If I stand correct I have seen first hand players switching jerseys so they could go on, this because there were more players then jerseys.

The Bulls last week only suieted up 23 guys, and that was probally the most they have suited up this year. So you should not try to blow up numbers when they are not factual.

As for the Bulls big guys, I would say that they all could play 80 minutes with the exsection of 4 of them Cofner, McShea, McCarthey, and Becker. Mains, Woodbridge, Edwards, Deal, Numa could all run for 80 minutes.

As for the Bulls/Knights match this weekend, it will all be decided on the field. My money is on the Bulls.

Loser- absolutely, i'm not having a go at the bulls just of fun. hopefully the mecechey brothers will join up as well as other nyac and old blue players

t-hawk, please don't take it personally, i agree that almost every team in the league has used that rule to their advantage at home. But you must agree a new rule is in order. having 300+ lb guys that can only go for 3-5 minutes vs guys that are going for an entire half is a bit unrealistic.

p.s. i'd love to see woody and chief go for 80! i repect them both but 80 minutes? give me a break...

You can have 30 or 40 if you want - but if you only have 17 who really know how to play, the rest are useless anyway - or a step back if you put them on the field.

If a forward can go for 80 mins, then they aren't doing thier job. No forward in the NRL goes for more then 60 - and still have 35 tackles and 20 hitups.
