They'll make the 8, but I have huge doubts on their ability to win the comp.

If Kimmorley and Dykes stay fit.... Top 4-6 but lack of big game experience in recent years means that other teams will step up in a way I think the Sharks wont be able to in the finals. They'll be gallant but I can't see them winning or reaching the Grand Final tbh.
I cant ever see them winning a grand final, it just wouldnt feel right.

1922???? 50 years???? Mate, they were established in 1967 (38 years ago). Incidentally, 1922 was the last time the bears ever won a title.

Great to see the Sharkies doing so well, living in the heart of St George - nothing makes me happier than seeing the Sharks near the top, Dragons near the bottom and my neighbours pissed off!

I go to a lot of Sharks games with a mate of mine who is a mad fan - and I've been damn impressed. They have the mix right, Dykes is taking so much pressure off Noddy. Nigel's seeing a bit more ball this year than last, plus I think they are a happy club again after Ando's reign of terror.

I'd be happy to see the Sharks do well, but in a fortnight's time I hope they cop a world of hurt down in Canberra
