I'm starting to think this signing won't work out.

He should be playing at lock. We are starting to have to much talent there. With Ellis leaving next year things change but still we have players to fill in there.

If Sironen is as good as what has been stated I figure he will fill in at 6 or 13. Maybe Anasta will help him for a couple of years and then move on.

Our team magically went from certain wooden spooners to an overnight premiership threat in 2007 when the senior players decided they loved the new coach Freddy. Anasta carried on like a pork chop when Freddy didn't want him at 5/8th, and soon after the senior players decided they didn't like the new coach and went on the win the wooden spoon in 2009. Anasta coincidentally introduced the drinking ban which half the team didn't want a bar of and led to Carney's eventual sacking. Anasta was one of the senior players who convinced the coaching staff and management that Carney was no longer needed. Anasta coincidentally regained the #6 jersey after Carney's sacking. Anasta now playing like a busted ass since learning he will no longer be a rooster.

A long stretch maybe. You will find out the truth soon enough.

The coach wanted him gone years ago FYI. Anasta has friends. Greeks are like that very tight knit with friends.

@Madunit. He decided that when he was effectively told to earn a contract but last year he did not play like a man desperate to keep the 6 when TC was injured then sacked. Mini is playing (bar yesterday) his best footy since....2005 after being told the same thing. 've never liked him at Easts. Brett Finch copped the FOFF but Anasta copped the excuses. I'd take Finch in a heartbeat.

All challengers to Anasta have been let go over the years. I feel sorry for you guys because I don't mind you lot. I'd much rather see Braith at Souffs
