Absolutely agree. I wish there was some sort of fine system the NRL could implement against broadcasters when commentators get rules wrong If they disagree with a rule, I have no problem with them voicing their opinion but they need to know the rules

I wont bag him in his playing career..

But I think his commentary is symbolic of the modern day journalistic ethos of "be the most outraged". Not be the most insightful. There is no insight, no consistency, no endearing features of what a footy lover wants in commentary. He's not the first, and wont be the last player who's been given a job that's not up his street.

To me he is just noise while the footy is playing.
