Excuse 6

It was after all our 3rd strength side. (hidden in amongst one of his tirades)

Cannot wait for that insult to the rest of the team mates.

Sorry Mr Frenzy, I didn't realise you were the self appointed School Headmaster.

If you keep trying, perhaps you can aspire to me even MORE belittling and patronising when dispersing your all knowing, powerful opinion on our sharks and our club.

The way you have started on me as a new member here shows signs of a severe power trip man, I bet you are employed as some psuedo Govt employee who revels in his uniform, parking cop ? librarian ? park ranger ? Sherrif ? something along those lines.

I'm a profiler myself for a provate firm and in only a couple of posts from you, and the way you have acted towards a new comer like me, who obviously has opinons other than your own, is deadset textbook, working class , lower level uniform wearing public servant. I note of course that you are a moderator here ( a task I might add that in my job we always group straight into the power trip, morally upstanding brigade) and I'm really very sorry if I have come along and pe'eed in your territory man, but you couldn't act like the big pissed off bear any better if you were scripted it.

Take a chill pill and allow other, new, members to join and have a differing opinion to yours.

A profiler for a private firm, eh? You musn't get paid much then.

I don't think you could be more wrong. Are your feelings hurt Morpheus? How 'bout you grab the kleenex and dry your eyes, princess. Harden up and build a bridge.

you would do well not to take challenges to your pieces personally

you will have an unhappy existance

remember to others you have no personality yet you are just a floating assertion and opinion on an internet forum

argue the points ignore the personal stuff

we have all posted and been proven wrong from time to time and everyone has a dig at eachother

many people here respect some of the people you have criticised so you will have to accept retribution in some form

Id like to add RTA Heavy vehicle inspector and Customs officer to that list. The latter being the most heavily inflicted case of uniform syndrome i've ever had the misfortune to cross paths with.

I would play Noddy at half and Gower at five-eighth ahead of Wing.
And Preston is so far short of Test match standard it's not funny. He shouldn't even be figuring in this discussion.

I was actually cheering for the Kiwis.
I just can't bring myself to support a team so full of Rooters and absolutely "nothing" players.
A totally whelming team.

Buggered if I'll go for the poms though...... ;-)

On Roosters players & Andersons selections;
When was the last time that the winning GF team had only1 player & with only 15 minutes game time in a kangaroos match? Is there anything that could match that!!??
Having said that, I thought that Roosters players went OK, although Wing can't operate outside Kimmorley.
Wing & Ricketson stopped 3 or 4 certain tries between them & one tackle by Ricketson was awarded to Simpson, but it was Ricketson front on, on the line, on Pula. It was a cracker.

& DJL, on what grounds is Preston "so far below" test standard?

These comparisons are going to be fun!

Defense?
Attack?
General kicks?
organisation?

Especially the defense topic where preston missed 10 in the GF. But as Langy(GF winning coach) said, "Prestons defense has not directly lead to a try to the opposition all season". "Presto attempts tackles that no other players in the comp would".

Personally Reefy I think Preston should be on a Roo tour. He is a champion little player. You can say what you want about his defence but he leads the NRL in missed tackles and also he can get dragged a few yards when he makes a tackle. (see his one on one on the Rooster front Rower in the GF as an eg when Preston tried to nail him on the line and he ended up over the 10m mark). Yes I know he makes some great one on one tackles too.
He knows himself its not the strongest part of his game but he believes he's no worst than anyone else. Thats about how I'd wrap it up.No worst than anyone else but certainly not in the top defenders in the game.(Lang wouldnt say any of his team were a defensive problem would he?)
Organisational was an interesting comment for you to put in. I heard him interviewed after one of the Panther games and he said it was great playing there under Langy as Gower did the organising and he could concentrate on his own game.
On the Roos bit I dont think the Broncos had any players when they won Super League? Lol.
Girdler would have been a shoe in and we know they had a couple of Kiwis.

how was gower ever supposed to make an impact when the time he got on was about the same time the run of play started to turn in the kiwis favour.

Well if that's not the lamest thing I've ever heard. Are you implying Gower doesn't have the ability to make an impact off the bench? [/qoute]

Of course he can but he was behind a foward pack that wouldn't go foward and the aussies hardly has any ball in the 25minutes he was on (hmm which great player has encountered that problem and who is his club coach????)

Gower had his chance, as did BK as did Wing. Trouble is they all wanted to be the playmaker and all tried too hard to impress. None of them stood up to the pressure.

well excuse me but shouldn't the coach in part take responsibility for setting a game plan where each player knows his role.

I don't take it personally Millersnose, but I accept your point.

It sounds like my summation of Mr Frenzy sits pretty well with some of the longer term members that have been here long before my arrival.

I must add that the customs officer remark was 100% spot on, those guys have bad problems with power !

ANdrew Voss had some interesting comments on anderson on 2ue tonight, he also made mention that Lockyer was very upset that before halftime, Kimmorley took over in the team talk behind the sticks and began ranting and laying down the law, while Lockyer, Aussie captain, stood with hands on hips fuming at kimmorleys rant.

Team harmony is bad as they get on the plane according to Voss.

Well if Lockyer is Captain shouldn't he have told Kimmorley to shut up?

What I found more interesting was the way lockyer, long before half time, was pushing kimmorley out of the way so that the ball could go wide.
If you have a look at the intercept that Lockyer threw, you will see what Imean.

No, no, no none of you got it right. No uniform. Govt yes.

Hear worse than what Morpheus is giving daily so it's hardly likely to have an effect on me here. Water off a duck's back :)

Now, back to the topic or do we want a "What does Frenzy do for work topic opened?"

So too was Wing, Kimmorley, Lockyer etc. I'm not pro Kimmorley on this - in several threads BEFORE the side was picked I maintained BK "would" be picked but didn't necessarily deserve to be. I have no problem with throwing the 7 at Gower either but the reality is he made no impact. No excuses needed.

Well of course. But neither you nor I were in the sheds and are not privy as to whether instructions were carried out or not. It's one thing to say they had them or should of had them, it's another to know if they were carried out :)

For the record, it didn't look like any sort of game plan to me. It was a disjointed rabble where some blokes went OK individually but as a team they were shoddy and aimless.

I did notice kimmorely taking on a captain type role behind the goal posts and wonderned what the heck he was doing. Yet again it all stems back to the nepotisim that exists between he and anderson.
