Because that Stance on Todd Carney really worked in our favour without following due process.

Turn around and have him win a case against us for unfair dismissal.

Pretty childish for Sharks fans to link this to the SKD case somehow though. Always the victim...

Not really, if the stories about the Fifita getting very lengthy suspensions are true than I would suspect SKD will get alot longer on the sidelines given the severity.

Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Interesting (banned from Penrith JRL games for a year), wonder what the NRL and/or cronulla punishment will be?

Didn't realise SKD was found guilty, gee that court case was over quick.

How can they be banned without a hearing?

I think you will find it is on match reports by the game officials and venue reports by club management, in this case it would have been Patties ground management as it was their home ground.

If the person/s don't agree they have a week or so to request a hearing.

This incident was a player welfare issue.

This is not an instance of a player or parent being over zealous and questioning the judgement or integrity of an official because their team lost.

We see this regularly in the NRL. That sets a bad example to the grassroots. A lot of the time it goes unpunished.

That, as I understand it, is the true threat to the integrity and sustainability of junior sports.

For all we know the referee was derelict in his duties. He possibly endangered an injured player and inflamed an already sensitive situation.

The Fifita brothers have to be accountable. So do the refs.

Policemen don't make up falsehoods to try and big up themselves do they?

I'd never belive that from our boys in blue

Next thing we know Rugby League players will be up in court on charges of not being complete suck arses in a conversation with a Policeman after a few beers.

f**k there are some morons on here, it is a wonder the ball boy is not to be blamed because it can not be the fault of NRL footballers.

Some just don't get it or live in a fantasy world.
