If this helps, got some of this from www.rleague.com:

Joined Knights 1989
FG debut March 13th 1994 vs. Rabbitohs (23 points: 2T, 7G, 1FG)
Country Origin 1995-1996
NSW 1995-2002, 2005 (23 games)
17 Tests 1995-2002
2 World Cups 1995, 2000
Kangaroo tour in 2001

Awards
Most Valuable Player in 1995 World Cup
Dally M winner in 1998, 1999 and 2002
Provan-Summons Medal winner in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001
Rugby League Week's Player of the Year 1998, 1999, 2002
NRL Player of the Year 1998, 1999, 2002
Won Golden Boot award as best player in the world 1999, 2001
Player of the Series Australia v Great Britain 2001
Clive Churchill Medal 2001

FG games: 221
69 tries, 814 goals, 21 field goals: 1925 points
Captain of Newcastle from 2001 onwards, NSW from 2002 (6 games), Australia from 2002 (dunno how many)
I'd say games as captain for Newcastle is all the games he's played since 2001, which is about 74.
Hope some of that helps, I assume it's accurate but if it isn't you know who to blame...

Hehe I know, sorry... But I did a Google search for his awards and one thing led to another... I think I need a cold shower and an uppercut.

Haha nah its ok.

Rleague stats aren't actually done by Rleague, so maybe just the shower is the go.

That's what I was thinking, it's just it seems that there was an article about him and Warrington which listed his achievements. But we shall speak no more of the Devil...

Actually while the topic of Joey is up, could someone clear up for me when his debut actually was? Cos I have seen also it was vs. Gold Coast in '93, but his record-breaking points for a first grade debut was against Souths in '94 to the best of my knowledge.

Those stats were either stolen by wikipedia or rleague.com...

He debuted off the bench vs the Gold Coast, his first run on was round 1 94... Apparently he played sh*thouse in his debut off the bench.

Yeah in this case I got them from rleague.com, a few things like the points about captaincy I tried to work out but they might be wrong.

I have read his debut was at fullback or something off the bench, yeah. So how come his 23 point haul against Souths is regarded as the most points scored on debut? Unless they are counting run-on side only, which is stupid.

Sorry mate, I should've been more clear. I wasn't accusing you of stealing, I was accusing either/or Wikipedia.org or rleague.com :).

And I think official debuts are considered as when you're a part of the run on squad for the first time.

Haha, nah it's cool mate I understood; at least I did after I stopped the crying... ;-)

So, if that's the system isn't it a little illogical? I mean, White hasn't made his debut, hehe. Imagine if instead of always mentioning Joey's record-breaking debut in reverence, as always, they talk about his actual debut and just say he went sh*thouse...

An odd fact about Joey's first game against Gold Coast is that he was so keen to take the field that he convinced the coach that he had played fullback and went on to replace an injured fullback - he was terrible at it apparently.
