Every Tom Dick and H are Tipping us, ever since Craig Bellamy endorsed us as the Benchmark they have been totally disjointed.
The Dragons will need to find their early season form quick smart if they're any chance of winning the comp.
My tip to win the comp is any of the top 8 teams with the top 4 having a slight advantage!!!

Look what happen when Bellamy said "Dragons are the bench mark"
Our naive players believe that deflection comment by Bellamy and then the players went into a false sense of security and took the foot of the pedal...the slide begins.
Andrew Johns is a technical adviser for the Roosters, why would he predict us and not the Roosters ?
Because it adds more pressure to our team, he is making sure of that.....the slide win continue.

If Andrew Johns said the sky is blue and the grass is green, I would still need to look out side and check.

I think if we debut Pereira and Herbert and they turn out to be decent wingers then we are in with a shot .. If we maintain the status quo with respect to selections then we are done.

An injection of speed/youth/hunger is exactly what we need.

At the moment I think we are 3rd favourites.
I rank the storm as the team to beat, they have the experience, the structure and composure that wins the big matches.

I place Souths second purely because they have the game plan that we struggle with, pace in the backline that we find hard to contain and they play the game fast, and play what’s in front of them...something that we still don’t do.

We are third favourite, forward pack can match it with anyone, however not enough speed or urgency in what we do...always slow... halves yet to stand up in a big match...

Much to my surprise, we are definitely still one of the main chances at the moment. I still think the Roosters will be hard to toss for the final honours, but we are certainly up there with Storm, Rabbits, Sharks, Panthers and Warriors as a realistic chance.

We need our luck to continue with regards injury as we don't have the depth of the other teams and we need to hope our coach can fluke his game plans and player fatigue management (i don't believe he is knowingly capable of managing it so flukeing is the best chance) and the players will need to take a bit of creative license to make up for the coaches short comings with regards tactics and if all this can fall into place, we are a realistic chance. I just think there are too many "if's and but's" for us to go all the way, but will obviously be ecstatic if i can be left with egg on my face.

Most of us diehard's are probably expecting the bubble to burst but are praying it doesn't, where as outsiders with a vested interest in alternative outcomes (the likes of Johns and Bellamy) are hoping it does burst and are attempting mind games to try and motivate a burst. Then there are the journo's who sit in a darkened corner of their office furiously whacking their todger each time we have a loss.........you just know the germs already have a pre-written "choke" article waiting to be published.

If we want them to stop writing “choke” articles we should proberbly stop swallowing safety pins.
