His commentary is annoying too, even though he is quite knowledgeable about the game, he should concentrate on that instead of trying to go for cheap laughs.

Voss is a self centred sensationalist who doesn't care what damage or embarrassment he causes so long as he's the centre of attention. I detest the way he hammers players with difficult or incriminating questions. FFS they're not politicians nor journalists, they're mostly dumb arse footballers not equipped for his style of barrage. He is a professional presenter and it is simply not a fair match.

I wish he could have interviewed Sonny Bill. I agree he can appear a little arrogant sometimes, but that does not make me dislike a person. He and Gus are like the Bill and Tony of Rugby League. I love listening to them go at each other. Is entertaining.

What Voss and the others dont get is that the game is the key entertainment. We don't need blokes with moderate talent (at best) honestly believing they are A-class comedians or entertainers.

Fatty initially was funny because he's an idiot. Now (and for the last 10 years), he's an embarrassment. Sterlo was always pretty good.

But Voss is the next line of "Matthew Johns" types who, when out in front of a camera, suddenly think they're hilarious.

he has been great for the show, i like him on the footy show and he is the best commentator by a long way. he has no agendas, knows more about the sport than most of the other panelists on a number of shows, cares about expansion and international rugby league, and asks the tough questions without being afraid of upsetting somebodies ego, something matty could never do.
