1. Hunt 8/10: Superb job, didnt make a mistake, made alot of metres on the kick returns.
2. Tate 5/10: Decent game, made a few mistakes and got caught out defensively at times.
3. Bell 4/10: Really went missing, didnt get involved enough, looked slow out there.
4. Hodges 5.5/10: Wasnt his best game, made some decent metres in attack,
5. Inglis 9/10: Great finishing, broke tackle, made metres, overall very good.
6. Lockyer 6/10: Pretty poor performance by his standards, wouldnt surprise me if he is about 80%, missed some tackles.
7. Thurston 7.5/10: Slow first half, great kicking game, controlled well with Lockyer missing.
8. Petro 7/10: Typical workman like game from the big fella, made metres and did what was neeeded.
9. Smith 8/10: Great game, tackled well and dominated from dummy half, outplayed Buderus easily.
10. Price 9.5/10: What can be said about the guy? Easily the best prop in the game.
11. Carrol 6.5/10: Did his job, made some metres, solid effort.
12. Myles 4.5/10: Was meh, like his whole season, shouldnt be there.
13. Johnson 9/10: Outstanding in defense, but what do you expect.

14. Berrigan 6.5/10: Had decent impact and was strong in defense, if QLD had lost theres no doubt in my mind he loses his spot to Bowen.
15. Lillyman 6.5/10: Was good with limited time, a great future prospect.
16. Costigan 7.5/10: Impressive debut, made some nice hits and ran the ball hard.
18. Kafusi -/10: Unfortunately his debut got cut short, he will be back tho and will be a regular when petro and price retire.

Spot on, no arguments. I would have given Carroll a 7.5 though, apart from that no drams! And you were very kind to Bell!

Inglis made a couple of errors but is a proven classy finisher.

Price was simply inspirational. 10/10 for him.

1. Hunt 8/10: Safe as a bank at the back, made a lot of good runs that got QLD on the front foot, proved all the doubters wrong!
2. Tate 5.5/10: Decent game, didn't get a whole lot of oppurtunities but sound defensively and in attack.
3. Bell 4/10: Really went missing, didnt get involved enough, looked slow out there.
4. Hodges 5/10: Looked a bit slow out there Hodges, needs to get that knee operation ASAP.
5. Inglis 6.5/10: Mixed game from Inglis, some mistakes in attack and defense but scored 2 tries to his credit and is always a danger.
6. Lockyer 6/10: Poor in the first half and pretty poor defensive effort, his ankle looked to of troubled him from the get go.
7. Thurston 8.5/10 Great game! Lead the guys well and put in some decent kicks.
11. Carrol 7/10: Good attack and good defense got under the skin of a lot of NSWs players whch was needed.
12. Myles 5.5/10: Showed that he's Origin material, good runs and good defense.
13. Johnson 8/10: Superb in defense tonight! Set the tempo early with his crunching tackle on White!

14. Berrigan 5.5/10: Decent game from Berro who looked to of created some impact coming onto a role that I believe suits him and he should have for Australia.
15. Lillyman 5.5/10: Impressive made some good hits and some decent carries too, needs to keep developing but could be something special soon.
16. Costigan 6/10: Impressive again, the good Costigan came out tonight. Strong carries and some strong hits. The only poor aspect of his game tonight was his poor decoy running.
18. Kafusi 5.5/10: Before his debut was cut short looked decent out there, nice little offloads and runs. Could be a future player.

well you gave him an 8 and big pete gave him an 8.5. 9 isnt such a stretch considering the heat and pressure of Origin.

I thought Costigan was outstanding in his debut.

Was very aggressive in defence and attack.

Hunt has the No.1 sewn up for life IMO - he was fanatstic, I think smaller players like Slater or Bowen could have dropped the pill or simply been 'bashed up' if they were placed in similar situations.

I personaly think Myles and Lillyman and Costigan played well above what you guys are given them.

I thought at 30 minutes into the first half the best players for Qld were the 3 mentioned

1. Hunt - Thought Slater was the go, but Hunt played well.
2. Tate - Trys hard.
3. Hodges - Overrated
4. Bell - Slow & Solid.
5. Inglis - Athletic , positionless.
6. Lockyer - Classy.
7. Thurston - Kicked NSW asleep.
8. Civo - Good engine, soft
9. Smith - Very good
10. Price - Good engine , soft.
11. Myles - Average.
12. Carroll - Good job he can tackle.
13. Johnston - Good job he can tackle.

14. Berrigan - A bit thick.
15. Lillyman - No Bob Lindner.
16. Costigan - Plenty of potential
17. The Tongan - Garbage.

As for NSW, I thought Anasta was their most dangerous player, while Mullen was crap.

The forwards had zero aggression - what does A Ryan do exactly ?

Whats with all the low scores for Petro?

That was one of the best front row performances of all time!!!!

When was the last time Petro ran at a halfback? ala poffta bailey???

Price is a legend and I loved how he said that his focus is the Warriors now, that guy deserves to be immortalised in origin and rugby league folklore

Price should have been MoM.

The guy is the total package on and off the field - absolute champion.

Inglis probably a 5 or 6 imo. Thus far in his Origin career, while he's scored a few easy tries, his hands have been worse than Manu Vatuvei's.

At least 2 unforced knock-ons come to mind, same as his 2 try debut. Vatuvei is usually only good for 1 a game
