The ponies fans around us were funny, they started off yelling out go broncos, when it looked like the storm may run away with it they suddenly became baby broncos, then just the broncos again when they levelled the game and of course back to making excuses and yelling out for the baby broncos at the end.

I do enjoy walking out of lang park surrounded by upset broncos fans after a loss, makes having to put up with them in the first place somewhat more bearable.

It's hard to understand that someone could be so close-minded that they think that just because you don't like afl that you automatically only like one sport. I can't stand the Victorian plague but I have an interest in a lot of other sports.

Perfectly said. I pretty much enjoy all sports other than AFL because I cannot tolerate celebrating mediocrity. The inability of AFL players to pick up a ball on the ground, combined with the cowardice of hitting people who aren't looking, just infuriates me. I can't watch it for more than 5 minutes without getting completely frustrated.

I watched the Broncos v Storm in full, plus the first and last quarters of the Suns v Lions and both were highly entertaining sporting contests. It's hard to understand how some people can be so close minded that they can't enjoy more than one sport...

As others have said, most everyone enjoys more than one sport.

I reckon Andy Raymond is the best commentator in the game. Just his clear and genuine love for the game is enough to put him above anyone else. He's got a sense of humour but doesn't try too hard to make it known like some others and he doesn't feck up names, whinge about reffing calls too much or bang on about rules or other issues too much. He's come up with some classics over the years. The players seem to like him too.

AFL is deadset the worst sport in the world. However my sporting interests include Rugby League, Football, golf, American Football, Formula 1, boxing etc.
