I’d look to have him presenting the Sunday afternoon show about premium cattle in the southern highlands of NSW..He probably knows more about isoflavones than isobars.
Angus with Angus..

....better in attack than JDBWhen calculating the value of a player age is an improvement factor. David Fifita is worth over $1m because he’s 20yrs old. $600k for Crichton over 4yrs Is a good deal. Is Crichton a better player JdB? Not really & JdB was happily on $600k

But the Big Mac isn’t an Angus burger..He would earn more promoting the end product (Big Mac)
But the Big Mac isn’t an Angus burger..
That’s false advertising..
Like using Euan Aitken to promote the centre of excellence..
That could work..I see the marketing opportunities now, from the Cooks River at Arncliffe down to the Shoalhaven, everyone will be lining up to buy the all new and improved Angus (Crichton) Burger.
Not sure what they paid him but I am sure it was no where near 1 millI think we all felt Newcastle overpaid for for Frizell given his age of 29.
"Sign him with funds from Frizell and K Sims salary".Where did you get that figure from. We offered Frizell 600k and so I would pay Crichton the same. Cancel the Roosters contract and we will give him a 3-4 year contract at 600k p/a.
Yes but our Board took sooooo long to get rid of Mary and so the damage had been done; Frizell had had enough. What we really needed was for our CEO to pull Frizell aside and give him the heads up that Mary would be gone and a more professional coach would be hired. Not sure what they paid him but I am sure it was no where near 1 mill
But to be honest I would almost rather Friz than Crichton under our new coach, who I reckon could of worked out how to use him to his and the teams betterment.
Ha... close the deal of course...if he wants to actually wants to leave the roosters and even interested in signing with usYes but our Board took sooooo long to get rid of Mary and so the damage had been done; Frizell had had enough. I'm sure Newcastle will get the best out of Frizell and we Dragons fans will understand even more how bad a coach Mary really was.
Crichton is our best chance for a 'like for like' replacement of Frizell. We should make this our number one priority right now and close this deal asap.

And your problem with the new CEO talking to Frizzell is friz made up his mind well before and agreed + signed a deal b4 Webb even started when?..March .April?
If the Roosters wanted to keep Crichton and if they had the salary cap and TPA to keep him, then the Dragons would not have a chance. However, it happens that the Roosters are shopping him around in order to recurit a player/players that are a higher priority to them.Crichton would be an excellent replacement for Frizell, I can't believe the Roosters would just let him go like that. Hard working, tireless defender who often comes 2nd for tackles after his hooker, handy in attack, runs good lines and can score a few tries. Like Frizell though needs to work on his passing game.
I don't know if we have the money but he'd be a great pick up for us.
Warped but funny...That could work..
Plus promoting the Dapto bakery’s new range of finger buns..
Gee I really hope we win a premiership whilst Friz is at the knights...Correct.
Frizell signed with Newcastle in March, Webb didn't start until April and even then he was 'stuck' in Melb due to COVID lockdowns. McGregor was still HC at this time and wasn't terminated (so to speak) until August.
Friz stated he wanted to win a premiership, at that time we had no CEO and McGregor was still coach.
We really don't need Norman and Hunt and so, I believe we will offload Hunt to the Broncos for Bird and Norman to reserve grade until he and his manager find another contract in 2021.No doubt we would all love for the club to make a signing like this. Not only is he like-for-like with Frizell, with plenty more upside in his career given he's only 24 and already a handful of Origin camps under his belt. It's definitely more benefit than having kept Frizell if we can pull it off.
Unfortunately the Dragons don't traditionally make these kinds of signings and are usually the first ones kicked off the poker table having had their bluff called out too early in the game.
I do wish to be proven incorrect though... however things like the fact we will likely be having an $800k+ 5/8 running around in reserve grade next year + potentially a $1m half back who has uncertainty around whether he is a half back or a hooker, and whom could very easily find himself also back in reserve grade if he doesn't pull his finger out + uncertainty around other parts of the roster i.e. JDB - do not make us a very marketable place for other quality players to want to come to.
