How do the NRL prioritise other clubs over the Knights exactly?
We don't get the FTA coverage we used to but that's a) nothing to do with the NRL and b) because we have a smaller fan base and haven't been relevant in 10 years.
The NRL have probably spent more time and money on the Knights in recent times than any other club due to the Tinkler circus blowing up. Well, maybe we dead heat the Tigers, Sharks and Titans too I suppose.
We get heaps of Channel 9 games...but they're all on Sunday.
The NRL are not in a position to let the club become also rans. the A League's success and crowd surges means that the Jets could start to become a legitimate rival for patrons, especially if their excellent form continues. They have only dropped points because they are still adapting their systems but they are a very exciting side to watch. Their brand of football is attractive to watch.
The jets are absolutely no threat...
Brett Keeble‏@BrettKeebleOct 22 Does @SalfordDevils owner @drmarwanK want to buy @NewcastleJetsFC? @craigkerry77 reports: http://www.theherald.com.au/story/2641434/koukash-among-potential-jets-owners/?cs=306… @NHSport @LeagueHQ1I will say that the Jets might be lead indicator as to Koukash's intentions.
There is paper talk that he is interested in the Jets. He might see them as a entry point into the hearts of the Newcastle faithful.
If he buys the Jets, then the Knights are in play.
It is understood Koukash, a brash horseracing owner who earned his wealth through management training company EuroMa Tech, believes he needs to have control of staffing and player appointments to make any club he buys a success.

How can anyone still be thinking this guy would be good for the club or the town?
