We don't get the FTA coverage we used to but that's a) nothing to do with the NRL and b) because we have a smaller fan base and haven't been relevant in 10 years.

Do we really? if game crowds are anything to go by we are up there with the most supported in the game

The NRL are not in a position to let the club become also rans. the A League's success and crowd surges means that the Jets could start to become a legitimate rival for patrons, especially if their excellent form continues. They have only dropped points because they are still adapting their systems but they are a very exciting side to watch. Their brand of football is attractive to watch.

There is paper talk that he is interested in the Jets. He might see them as a entry point into the hearts of the Newcastle faithful.

The Jets are not the threat to the Knights - other NRL teams are. The fact that after 25+ years there are still people (let alone kids) in Newcastle who don't support the Knights is disgraceful. I mean a large part of that is the douchebags who don't support their homeland team, but a part of it is our general shitness on the park for the last 12+ years.

And the NRL don't care about that, as long as they are supporting A team, they don't care if it's us or not. Exactly the type of owner we want...

hes a notorious loud mouth, the Broncos don't need him and with Packer buying into Souths I can't see Lachlan selling the Broncos anytime soon.
