That pie shop across the road from the western grandstand at EAS.
Great pies - I had a steak and mushroom and a beef, bacon and cheese

You oughta tell Shannon McDonnell, he might be in need of a couple. Looks like he dropped one or two over the sideline.

I wonder if he hopes it for the bulk of the 17,000 who watch us every week who also feel the same about his constant spastic play ?

John Morris is a good footballer, but clearly not a halve. Newcastle worked that out and knew it was no good keeping him as back up to Danny Buderus, Parramatta signed him as a hooker and then put him back to 5/8 when they had no one else and we suddenly decided he could be turned into a halfback. We should`ve paid the extra $150,000 per season to sign Michael Monaghan, but since we weren`t prepared to do that, then I suppose signing John Morris was worth a go, but he should`ve only been signed for 2 seasons max and once it failed over 12 months we should only revery back to that option when we have injuries. Morris is versatile, he doesn`t lack courage and doesn`t lack pace, play him on the wing and use him infield when defending !

240k for a winger !!
We'd have got hayne for that

Well the obvious thing to do would be to shop him around for next season, so we can hopefully retain Te`o, Heighington, Head and Galloway, but since he`s certainly with us for this season, attacking on the wing and defending infield isn`t a bad option.

You know it really wouldn't surprise me if he's given a run at fullback some time in the next couple of months...

just so you know, the pies are cheaper if you are in a knights jersey.

and about the only positive you guys got out of that game is that at pretty much full strength you can beat an exhausted team missing their 4 most important players.

And how many posters on this board do you see that are enthused after our performance? None. We know we were poor but guess what, we still beat you and you can keep the excuses coming for all I care.

Just so I'm clear though, were the 4 players that replaced those missing "exhausted" as well? And exhausted from what exactly?

exhausted from playing the best team the preceeding monday and defending our arses off all game.

hope we face each other in the finals - fully fit and recharged we would rip you a new one, no doubt.

having said that, we were very very poor yesterday and didn't deserve the win.

We played like sh1t (especially in defence) and won.

If you look around, not too many of us are happy. But thanks for the concern.
